So long as you see the "REBUG" logo on bootup and a "webMAN games" option in the games column then you definitely have Rebug sir thanks for the reply. I wouldn't worry too much if you don't see "4.81 rebug" or anything in your system version after installing this I never see it either.

I also recommend disconnecting the PS3 from the internet so you don't run the risk of downloading the latest official firmware from Sony's servers by accident either.

Just make sure you don't have a disc inserted or have an ISO (virtual PS3 disc) mounted, otherwise there's the possibility it will find and use the (official firmware!) update file on the disc instead.
